How do I take a useful baseline reading?

Measure at the same time each morning for seven days before you start, seated, after five minutes of rest, with your arm at heart level. Write down the seven-day average. That average, not a single reading, is what you compare against later.

Which strips fit the meter?

Only Blood Balance test strips work with the Blood Balance glucose meter. The lancets are universal 30-gauge and fit most lancing devices.

Do test strips expire?

Yes. Each vial carries an expiry date, and strips should be used within six months of opening the vial. Store them below 30 °C with the cap closed. The 50-count pack ships as two sealed vials of 25 so the second stays fresh.
